Little Rock Criminal Court-1st Div.

Pursuant to the Orders of the Arkansas Supreme Court, no "in-person" hearings can be held in the courtroom until after April 30, 2020.  As of this date, there will be no trials held in Little Rock Criminal Court-1st Div. until the week of May 18, 2020.  We continue to work in cooperation with the City of Little Rock during this critical time and will update any necessary information as we follow the COVID-19 situation.

Little Rock Criminal Court continues to operate its essential court functions, as defined by the Supreme Court. The Court is conducting daily jail dockets and other hearings (as required by the criminal rules), by way of video or tele-conferencing with counsel.  Further, the docket is maintained daily, keeping a record of all actions.

As of this date, the court building is still closed.  This Court has procedures in place, ensuring that all parties can continue to conduct their vital operations and honor their legal obligations. We will continue to follow all health and safety guidelines.

All persons who are on the criminal court docket, parties who may be subpoenaed, citizens, attorneys, etc., may contact the Court during working hours (8 a.m. – 4 p.m., M-F), (501)-371-4739, to inquire about cases, filing of any motions, requests for records, payments of fines/costs, probation reporting, resetting of cases, or by emailing the Court at
